Abbie

Navigating childhood and adolescence is challenging; but you and your child do not have to face it alone.

Abbie specializes in working with children and teens to support emotional regulation, mental health stabilization, and healthy communication skills. Drawing on both Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches, she helps clients build effective communication skills and coping strategies to thrive despite life’s challenges and curve balls.

A graduate of the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work, Abbie brings experience from both youth-focused settings and the Residential Treatment setting for women in recovery from drugs & alcohol. Inspired in part by growing up with a sibling with an Autism Spectrum Diagnosis (ASD) and multiple loved ones in recovery from a variety of addictions, her work is fueled by a lifelong passion to help young people both flourish & learn healthy communication styles long-term.
