I received my Masters of Social Work from the University of Michigan and have over 30 years experience providing therapy in diverse settings including Community Mental Health and other outpatient agencies, Hospice, Veterans Affairs and private practice. I provide individual, marital and family counseling and am a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. I specialize in treating anxiety,  depression, mood disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other trauma related issues, spiritual/faith issues, relationship/conflict management and grief/loss. I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). I work with people to help them gain an awareness of patterns of behavior, identify areas of growth and learn new skills to live a life of purpose and meaning. My approach to therapy is mindful, compassionate, strength based and holistic. My goal is to provide a relaxed, safe environment where you will feel heard, respected, supported and empowered to make the changes you want to live your life to the fullest.
