Have you or your child received multiple diagnoses, tried different approaches, or still feel like something is being missed?
As a therapist and evaluator, I specialize in complex and co-occurring diagnoses, helping clients tease apart overlapping symptoms to better understand themselves and move toward meaningful healing and overall well-being through an integrative, individualized approach.
My experience across juvenile justice centers, school systems, private practice, behavior centers, and community mental health settings — combined with advanced training as a School Psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and Doctoral-Level Psychologist — provides a unique foundation for differentiating complex presentations through integrative psychological assessment across the lifespan. At the conclusion of the assessment process, you will receive individualized recommendations tailored to your strengths, needs, experiences, and long-term goals. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, while considering emotional, behavioral, neurological, developmental, and environmental factors that influence daily functioning and wellness. Together, we will work collaboratively and authentically to build insight, foster healing, and move towards practical progress.

In public schools, Carla directs Student Services, covering all areas of education while integrating special education. Carla’s work is grounded in ecological and intersectional frameworks, integrating social-emotional learning (SEL), self-efficacy theory, and systems-level perspectives such as Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) ahind Interconnected Systems Frameworks (ISF). She conceptualizes well-being as a multidimensional construct shaped by individual identity, relational contexts, and institutional structures. This approach allows one to examine how gender, sexual identity, trauma exposure, and systemic inequities jointly influence psychological and educational outcomes.
