Mallory Waayenberg
(She/Her), LLMSW
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma/PTSD, relationship challenges, and limb differences or amputation. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. With children, I incorporate play therapy techniques to create a comfortable, developmentally appropriate space for emotional expression.
I emphasize the mind-body connection through psychoeducation, coping skills development, and exploration of personal history, attachment, and relationships. I believe each client is the expert in their own life, and my role is to provide a supportive, collaborative, and safe environment where meaningful growth and lasting change can happen. Together, we'll work toward the goals that matter most to you.
