Sarah Kocsis
(She/Her), LLPC
I have a strong enthusiasm for personal growth and self-awareness. My goal is to help you bridge the gap between the person you are now, and the person you want to be. I work with individuals and couples who may be experiencing anxiety or depression, relationships and boundary issues, stress, people pleasing, self-esteem issues, intellectualizers, parenting struggles, and identity issues. I also have a background working with the LGBTQ+ community and offer faith integration if desired. I want to help you develop a better understanding of your past, triggers and patterns in order to get unstuck and create new endings to old stories.
My collaborative approach with individuals and couples strives to understand where we come from, why we do what we do, where we are going, and how we can get there. I primarily use Gottman material for couples (Level 2 trained) and CBT and IFS for individuals. These modalities are great for self-exploration and making changes that last
I believe in taking an empathetic, person-centered approach to therapy. I enjoy bringing in psychoeducation, creativity, and humor when appropriate. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients. Together, we will set achievable goals, and develop strategies that work for you.
